Description- The activity commenced with acquainting the children to the cultural diversity of Sikkim through PPT which was followed by introduction to the Tribal Jewellery of Sikkim through video & demonstrating the process of creating the jewellery with simple clay. The children were all ears and evidently inspired as they created some beautiful samples of jewellery in the form of beads and rosaries.

 Description of the Activity  The students were instructed to explore all the facts of a given number and attach one  moral value they want to imbibe. The students related the numbers to their favourite places which they are missing due to the pandemic like  an ICE cream parlour,  eating popcorns in a movie hall moving in a train etc.

 Learning Outcomes-

The students will be able to-

▪ Learn various mathematical facts  of the given number and remind them the VALUES and their FAVOURITE PLACE they  attached to it.

▪To enhance  and broaden  their views about the little things around them.

▪ They also visualised the places they were not able to visit and enjoyed a lot.

Description: The student recreated model of earth with various materials like clay , paper ,paints etc and designed  a  headgear also.  They also enjoyed colouring in a worksheet that depicted the very important role played by Ozone layer in saving us from harmful rays of the sun. They spoke one liners on  how we can save earth. The activity made the learners aware about their surroundings and how they have to care for it.

Variations possible: बच्चे इस कोरोना काल में घर से बाहर जाने का जोखिम नहीं उठा सकते अन्यथा यह गतिविधि सामूहिक रूप से शिक्षकों के विशेष परामर्श तथा मंच की अद्भुत तकनीकियों  द्वारा करवाई जा सकती थी ।

Description : The students were well-versed with the  complete functioning of digestive system and importance of nutrition in human. They were encouraged to build 3D models of above topic using any relevant material available at home to promote "Sustainable living" in this corona times. This activity helped them to collaborate & create.

Variations possible: Children could not venture out of their homes in corona times otherwise could have worked in teams under the valuable guidance of teachers.
