3) Rectangle - It has four sides, two long sides and two short sides

4) Circle - It has no sides and no corner

Nutrition in Humans - 3D Model

 Art Integrated : Creating Art Tank using materials available in surroundings. 

 Topic: Nutrition in Living Organisms-Animal and Humans

 Sub-topic : Nutrition in Humans

 Learning Outcomes: The students will be able to –

Construct/ Build various organs that make up the digestive system using  materials available at home. 

Enhance their creativity and presentation skills by realising the importance of recycling and reusing. 

• Develop intellectual and motor skills in identifying , organising and learning structures and  functions of various organs.

Description : The students were well-versed with the  complete functioning of digestive system and importance of nutrition in human. They were encouraged to build 3D models of above topic using any relevant material available at home to promote "Sustainable living" in this corona times. This activity helped them to collaborate & create.

Variations possible: Children could not venture out of their homes in corona times otherwise could have worked in teams under the valuable guidance of teachers.

Description- Students were asked to draw pictures on A4 ivory sheets with the help of different polygons. They used their creativity and drew beautiful pictures using polygons, coloured them and finally detailed the kinds of polygons used along with their count.

Learning Outcome-  Through craft activity, children learn to value and appreciate and experience first hand. They learn to act and think  intelligently and creatively.

Ideated and Executed by- class 2 teachers

Description- the students made craft activities related to wild animal, water animal, bird using very simple materials such as paper plate, blue coloured papers, glue, sketch pens etc. They were shown first how to make it. Then, they were suggested to make it using their own creativity and imagination.
