Animal Cell Through Pizza

Description-Animal cell model was made using Pizza base along with cheese as cytoplasm and pasta as smooth endoplasmic reticulum different vegetables were used for representing different cell organelles. 
Learning Outcomes- The students were able to understand the various cell organelles and structures which make up a plant or animal cell.

The story : 

Once upon a time, there were seven colour friends; Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red. They were not happy. They used to fight with each other all the time. 

One day the sun and the clouds ⛅ told them, " do not fight! If you be together, you can make things beautiful as a Rainbow 🌈." 

So they stopped fighting, became friends and created a beautiful Rainbow. 

And they were happy now.

Pythagoras Theorem - from Artists

Use the spiral as the basis for an art piece.

Description: Learners were asked to draw a right-angled triangle of base and perpendicular of 1 unit to get the hypotenuse as √2 by the Pythagoras Theorem. By taking √2 as the base, the value of √3was found. Similarly, a square root spiral was formed by constructing √4, √5, √6, √7 and… so on using a ruler, compass and protractor. Then the spiral was used as the basis for an art piece.

Variations possible: The activity can also be performed by paper folding.
