Description - The main idea of this topic was to impart some ideas related to cleanliness and to develop the habit of keeping oneself and their surroundings neat and clean. Students were made aware of basic good habits which they must follow in their daily life. Further, they were motivated to brainstorm some innovative ways about how they can keep the environment clean. We culminated our activity with the discussion of different coloured bins presents around the area along with their purposes respectively.

Take a rectangular sheet of thermocol.

Cover it with velvet paper or cloth of any bright colour.

Fix board pins in such a way that it takes the shape of a constellation. 

Join the pins with thread to show their clear structure

Outcome: This activity made the students learn and understand Newton's laws of motion in a quite easy way, which otherwise they find a little difficult to grasp.

 Description:  

 Creativity is making marvellous out of the discarded. 

Best out of waste simply means to make or to bring out something innovative and attractive things from the material we do not use anymore.

Talented DPsites too used their creativity and made beautiful, useful and attractive items from the discarded items. They presented the best example to show 3R's -Reuse, Reuse and Recycle by creating artwork on waste glass, plastic bottles and craftwork using paper strips, feathers, rings etc. Efforts of students were worth appreciable.

 Variations possible: Students can create planters, bird feeders, wall hangings, table decor, wall decor, cards and many more articles using waste generated at homes.

Description: Rangoli Making has been an essential part of celebrations in our country. It is a spiritual distribution of colours and considered Harbinger of Good Luck Therefore, to promote this traditional art form amongst our students, Rangoli Making was conducted for the students of Grade VI-VIII.

The participants created innovative designs of Rangoli using vibrant rangoli colours, flower petals and diyas based on the provided themes. Innovation and creation are the words that best describe their efforts.

Variations Possible - Painting or Poster making activity can also be conducted.

Learning Outcome -

Students will learn how to identify the date, months & days.

Description  - 

The children will fold an A4 size mount board and will paste an A4 size Coloured sheet on it.Now with the guidance of the teacher three pockets(A4 sheet divided into 4 parts vertically)will be made by the students and will write Date , days and months in each of the pocket respectively. Now the children will write 1-31, Sunday- Saturday, January- December on the small cut outs of the papers and will put them into the respective pockets.Now the calendar is ready to use. The children will write  the year and will decorate it as per their wish.This activity will give an opportunity to the children  to work on learning order of days of the week and also to realize that days go in a continuous cycle.
